"ALPHA CENTAURI And The Ocarinas"  a Decolonial practice.
 

We have to understand that we are still living a sequel to the colonization of five centuries ago. Colonialism, modernity and capitalism are in themselves a single entity. Alpha Centauri and The Ocarinas is a project and an ambient music band that generates performances as decolonial practices.

 

”The Return of Gold"
The band presented a ritual as an interdisciplinary artistic action, (sculpture, video, music and performance) that consisted of playing the Tetarinas (ocarinas with breast form) on top of an original track for 30 minutes. Musical atmospheres were generated to enhance the symbolism treated in the performed actions where "the gold" was returned by a white European man to the Latin American woman.
